Q: Are we accessible?

- There is a downstairs bedroom

- We are lucky to have a downstairs bedroom but there are 2 steps on the ground floor level between the living room and kitchen
- There are 8 steps to wind your way up to the garden

Q: Is it dog friendly?

A: Yes, dog towels, stone floors, enclosed garden, spare dog bowls and even a treat on arrival

Q:Can you walk from the cottage?

A: Yes. Fantastic walking from the doorstep including the Monsal Trail, Limestone Way, River walks, Cressbrook and Litten etc

Q: Is the garden secure?
A: Yes the garden is enclosed.  

Q: How far is the nearest pub/restaurant?

A: We are just opposite the village pub.  The village has 3 pubs, 1 upmarket restaurant a couple of cafes and fish and chips

Q: How far is the nearest shop?
A: 200 metres approx.  The village contains a bakery, small co-op, organic butchers, fruit and veg shop.  We also have a gift shop and very lovely second hand book shop

Q: How far is the nearest supermarket?
A: There are supermarkets at Bakewell and Buxton, both approx 20 mins drive

Q: Is it in a quiet location?
A: Yes. We are in a village on a small back street,  the small amount of traffic on the street is slow
